Jigsaw daytradr 5.0 Beta Update: Important Fixes and Moving Forward

We apologize for the issues that arose with the initial release of daytradr 5.0 Beta. We understand the impact these problems had on your trading operations and want to assure you that we’ve been working diligently to resolve them. Here are the important updates we’d like to share.

Over the past few days, our team has been working tirelessly to identify and resolve a series of unexpected problems. The root cause was traced back to a single line of errant code that, unfortunately, did not manifest during our internal testing across various configurations. 

This situation, while regrettable, underscores the importance of beta testing across a diverse range of user environments.

We’ve now released a new beta version that addresses these issues. Here’s a comprehensive list of the fixes included in this update:

• FTT not showing accounts
• Current trades not showing Rithmic/Tradovate
• News widget not always loading
• Unknown interval on charts
• Trade markers still visible after scrolling vista
• Menu scroll issues (menu item got lost)
• New strategy window DPI issue
• Rithmic disconnects when opening settings window
• Rithmic volume profile would be different when using tick compression
• Rithmic value area high and low would disappear when using tick compression
• CSV levels and manually written alerts would disappear from session high
• Calendar had irregular circles
• daytradr freezes

We want to assure you that while this initial setback was significant, it has sharpened our focus. 

Moving forward, we anticipate that fixes will be implemented more rapidly as we’ve now resolved the core issues that were causing these cascading problems.
